Lecture Series for Digital Agribusiness Course and Intermediate Agribusiness Marketing Course Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran

The Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University Holds a Lecture Series between 16 September, 23 September and 30 September 2024 online and Hybrid at the Multimedia Building of the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor Campus.

This Lecture Series is a form of mutual collaboration in Education and Teaching, Research, and also Lecturer Exchange between Lecturers at the Faculty of Agriculture and Lecturers from abroad. The purpose of this Lecture Series is to increase the knowledge and insight of students and lecturers, improve international networks, and strengthen the reputation of the institution.

The universities that collaborated in this activity were from Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Department Economics (https://farabi.university/department/64?lang=en) with the speaker Ass.Prof. Yessengaziyeva Saule and Dr. Jitender Bhandari from Christ University Delhi NCR.

The material that was delivered by Prof. Yessengaziyeva Saule for the Intermediate Agribusiness Marketing with team teaching Prof. Dr. Yosini Deliana, Ir., M.S. and Dr. Ir. Dini Rochdiani., M.S. The topic was discussed such as Key issues of Development of Agro- Industrial complex and the Ways to Solve the Problem (Case of the Republic of Kazakhstan), Analysis of the current state of the agricultural sector and socio-economic aspects of the development of rural areas and Improving Government Support Measures Aimed at Developing Agriculture in The Republic of Kazakhstan and Potential for Development Agriculture of Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the speaker for the Digital Agribusiness Course was Dr. Jitender Bhandari talked about The JAM Trinity and India’s Digital Public Infrastructure: A Success Story – Theory and Evidence. Dr. Bhandari also discussed the reason behind the success of India stack and how the Indian experience can be replicated in other developing countries. Team teaching Digital marketing are Prof. Dr. Yosini Deliana., Ir., M.S., Dr. Iwan Setiawan, S.P., M.Si., Hesty Nurul Utami., S.P., M.M., Ph.D. and Dr. Eka Purna Yudha., S.P., M.Si.

Lectures were attended by students of the Undergraduate Program, the Master Program in Agricultural Economics, and the Agricultural Science Doctoral Program. It is hoped that the Lecture Series activities will continue for the coming semester in accordance with the courses and topics discussed.
